World war ipod touch/iphone game

I really don’t know why I play world war. This game has so many clones (same game, different graphics) on app store that I just hate it. It’s multiplayer game yes, but communication with other players is broken. Talking to other ppl is hard and pointless, there is no reason to talk to anybody. Why this is then a mmorpg game? Everybody just spams their invite code. It’s the only reason why there is communication on this game.

So what’s the game about? Yeah, just press button, you attack, maybe won. Then go buy stuff, spam your invite code to get more ppl to your alliance.. And then do it again! Again and again… Until you want to whack your head trough wall.

Yea. Dead simply game where you repeat yourself n+1 times. And I can’t stop playing it! I hate myself now…

DO NOT TRY TO SCAM PEOPLE WITH SAYING THAT YOU GET MONEY, RESOURCE OR ANYTHING WHEN ADDING. JUST POST THE CODE, DONT TRY TO SCAM. EVERY SCAM MESSAGE WILL BE DELETED. ALSO SPAMMING SAME CODE MULTITIPLE TIMES IS NOT ALLOWED.

    @Flush: Running scripts on iPod touch/iPhone is not possible, but as this game is a website (the client is actually web-browser) it is somehow possible to play this game at computer. And there you can build scripts.

    The game is running at http://wwar.storm8.com/ but there is nothing to see because this game uses weird login method at startup. With packet capturer it may be possible to get login information and then resend them from computer.

    Not sure if you located this yet. but I believe the device specific information WW uses as well as the key is in the Cookies.plist in : /p/v/m/A/PID/L/C/ Only real thing that needs to be sniffed out is how the application logs into the site.

    A quick thought, what if the site only allows logging from certain devices. As in, when the browser first hits there web server they are able to ascertain what OS, browser version we have. Perhaps crafting a fake ipod, safari response might trick it into allowing an UID@*.com login.

    Update: After screwing around with the hold function on the ipod I ascertained that the hyperlinks go to PHP pages. Taking one of these URLs and inputting them into your browser on your PC, again brings you to a blank page. But does not recurse back to the domain name. If you look at the source of the page you get this:

    Error: You must use an iPhone to play.

    I guess that would be obvious if my browser was in any other color than white for the back ground. Anyhow, this supports my argument that their web server is allowing access through what browser and OS it determines you are using when you first contact them.

    @-CS-: I think iPod/iPhone sends login stuff to login server before starting browser. So the authentication would be ip/time/mac address based. I think, example if firefox is modified to use same user agent that word war uses (may be changed)

    User agent can be find out with packet capturing OR domain redirecting to local webserver and then look at the logs.

    I think whole authentication is cookie/user agent based.

    i noticed a player by the name of andrei with 200 building each and just started playing the game not too long ago based on his gameplay…definitely there is a cheat or some hack codes out there…at first its entertaining but got disappointed when i saw this player that does not play fair….my code is Y4HF5P…and am planning to quit on this game cause of cheaters. if anyone knows how to transfer my assets let me know. i’d be happy to give mine.

    2 things. . .

    1. is there a faster way to add more alliance codes. ? instead of Recruiting them one at a time.. :S

    2. anybody knows how the skill point (Attack / Defence) work.. ?
    is it a % calculation or something like that, , ,

    (I am working on a .Pages document that will calculate your Attack and Defence points, >so you have a better understanding if you are going to win the battle or not.

    but can’t finalize the document without the skill point thing.. :S

    SUP S22K29 i think they might of changed it on the new update, but If u reset ur account and it says type in reset, put in “STORM8″ even though it gives u 5 allies ans 1 mil, and loots a darksword aircraft. but i think it might be fixed.

    Well, i was recently just randomly adding codes, and I seem to have found a leak in the system. I added the person WFSAD3 on World War, and once he/she accepted me, the upkeep for units become zero. Although it still shows that I have 670 million upkeep, i’m gaining 670 million or so extra an hour since the upkeep is now zero. So now i gain almost 2 billion an hour O_o just thought I’d share it with everyone, GO USA.
